Credential Multifactor Authentication Setup

Adding Multifactor authentication to your credentials is a great way of adding an additional level of security.

With the use of PassPortal’s in-built TOTP system, you no longer require an additional app for multifactor authentication, you can do this direct within the Browser, browser addon & mobile app

Step 1. Select your credential within Passportal and select the 3 dots at the end of the credential.

Step 2. Select edit Credential.

Step 3. Select  +add TOTP Setup Code

Step 4. Drag the QR code into the drop area/upload the QR code image or enter the TOTP set-up code manually and select apply.

Step 5. Select Save.

Step 6. Copy the Generated TOTP Code to your Auth setup and confirm.
